Good morning! I'm sure I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting warm weather and spring clothes. Last year I was converted to the white jeans club, and can't wait to bring mine back into the closet.
Today I'm filling in for the lovely Audrey over at Putting Me Together, and I've shared several ways to style white jeans.
Check out some of my favorite pairs, if you're in the market for some new ones, then please pop over to Audrey's blog and see how I style them!

Blogger Must-Haves: Makeup, Part 2
Hello everyone! I just got back from a lovely long weekend in San Francisco, and am here to share the second installment of last week's Blogger Must-Haves series on makeup. So many of my blogging friends were sweet enough to submit their picks for the best makeup item in their bag, and here's the second half of the collection. I'll be back tomorrow once I've recovered from my jet lag and done some laundry! xxHD
Next is Julie from The Semi-Reformed Nerd, and Jillian from Cornflake Dreams. Julie is a new friend who I met at my first Dallas blogger meet-up, and Jillian's blog is one that I've read since we were both new to the game. I admire her style as much now as in 2010!

First up is Alex from Things That Sparkle, and Emily from Capital Style, two entrepreneurs with great personal style and inspiring blogs.
Next is Leslie from Fresh Out of Lemons, and Kelli and Lisa from Bud & Leo. All of these ladies have been so friendly and support of me since I started blogging, and I've followed both blogs since we were all new to the game in 2010.

And finally, Jaime from South on Broadway is new to blogging but shows so much more promise than I did when I was starting out. I'm excited to see where it takes her!

Guest Post: Bright Spring Colors
Hi ladies! I'm still living it up in San Francisco, but I'm super excited to have Emily here to fill in and share some great style inspiration with you today. Ever So Emily is one of my favorite new blogs to read, and I hope you will get to know her while I'm away. Take it away, Emily!
Hi there! I'm Emily from Ever So Emily and am so glad to be posting for Haley today! I'm a huge fan of Haley's outfit recaps, so I thought I'd pull together a few of my own.
I don't think I'm alone in counting down the says to warmer weather, and what better way to pass the time than with bright colors! They are everywhere lately, as is color-blocking, so I thought these were particularly appropriate.
Also, I need that polka-dot clutch. Yesterday.
Spring Color! by emhager featuring clutch handbags
I'd love to incorporate more color into my home, as well. We moved into a new house a few months ago that is great, but has beige walls that we can't paint. Luckily, adding a little color can be as quick and easy by adding a few bright pillows or lamps. For a bigger investment - colored furniture! Not so sure my husband would go for the pink chair, but a gal can dream.

How do you plan to incorporate color into your wardrobe and/or home?

Blogger Must-Haves: Makeup, Part 1
Hello ladies! I'm off to San Francisco today, but am excited to share a lot of blogger must-haves with you while I'm gone! I called on my e-friends to supply the one cosmetic that they can't live without, so this is the first in a series of posts on great makeup that's worth checking out.
First, I'll share that my favorite item in my makeup bag right is my CoverGirl Outlast Lip Stain. I hate having lipstick or gloss on my lips, so this stain in a marker is perfect for me. I use the Flirty Nude shade, and it's very natural looking and long-wearing. Plus, it's only $8.50!
And now, the rest of my blogging friends are here to weigh in with their favorite items:
First up is Regan from Cardigans and Couture, Emily from Ever So Emily - both of whom post amazing content all week long and inspire me to dress and eat better!

Next are Danielle from Elleinad Spir and Julie from Julip Made. I love getting a peek into Danielle's life and seeing her style, and Julie's culinary skills inspire me to get in the kitchen and be brave with food (she has amazing taste in non-food items, too!)
And finally, Cara from Lilac and Grey and Emily of Simply Southern shared some great products. I love seeing Cara's picks for entertaining and fashion, and Emily has amazing style and an enviable globe-trotting lifestyle - plus, she's a Texas girl like me!
I have another batch of blogger picks on tap for Tuesday, since I got so many great submissions. Please check back on Monday for a great guest post, and then the rest of the makeup picks. I hope you all have a great weekend!
P.S. If you would like to participate in next week's Blogger Must-Haves series, the theme is is BOOKS! Just send me an email with a link and I'll take care of the rest!

Blogger Tag!
As I sat here struggling to think of something to write, I got an email from the lovely Anne-Marie of 10 Rooms Design with a note that I'd been tagged in a game of Blogger Tag. I love reading 10 Rooms and learning about how to use color in my home, so I am happy to play along. And, I think posts like these are fun and really like learning more about other bloggers, so here we go!
I'm off to San Francisco early tomorrow morning, so I'll be back online Tuesday! Enjoy the posts scheduled between now and then - and have a great weekend!
1. What is your day job?
I work at a loyalty marketing agency on the client service side of the business. It's interesting, for sure, but pretty stressful at times. Sterling Cooper, it is not.
2. Why did you start blogging?
I struggled to find blogs that offered suggestions on things to wear and buy that fit in with my budget (I call us $40 shirt people), so I started my own!
3. What is the best thing that has come from blogging?
Developing my own style in both fashion and decor, thanks to all the inspiration I've seen and the time I spend actually making outfits and seeing what looks best.
4. How and where do you find inspiration?
Other blogs, magazines (online and print), but lately it's all Pinterest, all the time.
5. If you could live anywhere, where would you be?
I actually love living in Texas, but if I had unlimited funds to fly home at will, I'd be in a townhouse in London. After doing an internship there during college, I fell in love with the city.
6. Who is your favourite artist?
I have long admired Charley Harper, and love the playful feel of his work.
7. What's playing on your iPod?
Right now, I've been switching back and forth between Miranda Lambert's new album, Four the Record, and People and Things from Jack's Mannequin.
8. How do you spend your day off?
Truthfully, I clean my house and go to Target. Ideally, I would head to NorthPark Center in Dallas for shopping and a movie.
9. Who would you most like to meet?
Promise not to tell? Alan Ball and the cast of True Blood. *hides in shame
10. Best childhood memory?
Spending all day shopping with my mom in Houston before I was old enough to drive and have my own plans on the weekend. We would stop and get a Snapple (when it was new in the 90s) and then drive to the Galleria for a day of bargain hunting.
11. What is your favourite colour?
I'm addicted to teal blue. I painted a few walls this color.
And now, I get to tag ten bloggers to play along (if they feel like it):

2. Why did you start blogging?
3. What's your favorite book?
4. What were you like in high school?
5. Cat person or dog person?
6. What's your favorite city in the world?
7. Do you think J.Crew is overrated or the most perfect example of branding ever to exist? (or somewhere in between)
8. What app do you use most often?
9. Are you a Mac or a PC?
10. What movie never fails to make you laugh?

For the Photogs: Stylish Camera Bags
Ever since N and I realized that we're going to take a one-in-a-lifetime vacation this year (likely two weeks in Italy!), we've started to look at dslr cameras in hopes of getting some great pictures while we're there. I've long wanted to learn to take quality photos, and can't wait to start a new hobby once I get my new toy this spring.
And because I'm me, I couldn't help but notice all the cute camera bags in market right now! It seems like more and more people are carrying a serious camera around on a daily basis, so here are some of my favorite options:
Theit Bossi Bag ($159 CAN) | Photojo Sloop Bag ($149) | Kelly Moore Mimi Bag ($199) | Ketti Handbags Chevron Bag ($195) | Epiphanie Bags Belle ($165) | Jo Toes Millie ($87, in several colors)
Obviously, a lot of these are a bit of an investment, but if you carry a camera all the time it would be worth it! I am in love with Kelly Moore camera bags, and she hosts a monthly giveaway on her site. Sign up if you know what's good for you!
So, are you a shutterbug with need for a camera bag, or just a dreamer like me?
P.S. Anyone with strong opinions on the Nikon vs Canon decision is welcome to chime in!

Love, actually, is all around us.
Sorry, I couldn't resist a title quote from my favorite movie. :)
Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! I don't put a lot of stock in this oh so romantic holiday thanks to many years of dateless evenings, but I do like being reminded of the people I love and decided to share a quick round-up of lovely things to make you smile.
This necklace would let you wear your feelings on your neck, for all to see
This pink and orange clutch would be a sweet spot to store the necessities for a night out (bonus - it has a shoulder strap!)
This poster would be a sweet housewarming gift for your best friend, or a cute addition to your own room
Cheeky packing tape like this would make your next gift even more exciting to open
If things aren't going so well in the dating department, remember this
If you like wearing hearts, but subtley, this skirt is super cute
I hope everyone has a lovely day!
