Dream Decorating: Unisexual Glam Bedroom

One of the perks of being my in real life friend is getting unsolicited Photoshop mood boards.  My friend Phoebe, her husband and adorable daughter just bought a new house and we cannot wait to transform it from ordinary new-ish construction to homey and unique through lunch hour shopping trips and after work paint parties.

She's had her eye on this amazing bed from Z Gallerie for a while now, so I thought I'd play around and make a bedroom scheme that she can show her husband (or despise and tell me to try again):

I think the bed will have a huge presence in the room and set the tone for the space, so I opted not to look for a patterned duvet and think that we'd bring pattern into the room with pillows and a rug.  The paint is a soothing blue from the West Elm collection, since Phoebe's husband doesn't want a girly space.

So... whatcha think Phoebe?

P.S.  If you want your own mood board, send me an email and describe what you want and I'll see what I can do.  I'm not making any promises on time, but I really enjoy doing this and it keeps me from shopping on the internet.  :)
